In January we highlighted the March 9 sailing of the Queen Victoria for 14 days from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton. Cunard has reduced that price by $300 to $1,000 for remaining ocean view cabins. Details:

Cunard Queen Victoria in Fort Lauderdale |
Cunard occasionally marks down the last leg of months-long world cruises to fill empty cabins. Stops include Port Canaveral, Charleston, SC, overnight, and The Azores.
The price represents good value for 14 days because it is at or below the bottom range of what Cunard charges for just seven days on the regular crossings between England and New York by Queen Mary 2.
Queen Victoria: 2,014 passengers, built 2007, refurbished 2010.
Here is Cunard's pitch for these last days of this world cruise:
"Join the 14-night finale of Queen Victoria's epic adventure in Fort Lauderdale, calling first at Port Canaveral, close to the Kennedy Space Center. Explore plantation houses and cobbled squares during two days in lovely Charleston, before the volcanic Azores guide you home."
